We are excited to announce that we are filming and editing a documentary on the history of flight test and rocket development at Edwards Air Force Base and the Aerospace Valley.
The educational documentary will focus on the significant contributions of the Air Force Rocket Lab at EAFB, the engineering and technical advances in rocket technology, and the future of aerospace with KLCS a Southern CA PBS affiliate. A generous grant from AFRL made this possible!
The Flight Test Museum Foundation invited our partners PBS (local KLCS) to the STEM Expo at the 2023 Aerospace Valley Air Show at Edwards Air Force Base. We are working on an excited documentary focused on flight test in the Aerospace Valley, the advances in rocket technology at AFRL, and the future of aerospace! In the meantime, the museum, our AFRL partners, Society of Experimental Test Pilots, USAF Test Pilot School, and NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center were featured in their show “Sustaining Us,” a local program to highlight inspirational education in California.
Sustaining US: You have probably heard the term STEM over the years. An education discipline that involves science, technology, engineering and mathematics. STEM is an overarching word used to group together these fields of study and the term STEM is used mostly in the context of education policy and curriculum choices here in the U.S. Even the U.S. Air Force is lending some help.
