The Flight Test Museum is the custodian of a unique collection of historical aircraft and artifacts that have contributed to the advancement of flight, pioneered at Edwards Air Force Base, CA. Virtually all of these exhibits and aircraft have recently been unavailable for viewing by the public. However, there is currently underway an effort, entirely funded by the public, to create a new museum that will be open and free to all. This specially designed museum will display historical aircraft – preserved for future generations. The new building will house, in dedicated galleries, many prototypes and experimental aircraft that have a special connection with Edwards AFB, the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School, NASA and the surrounding Aerospace Valley. Upon completion, special provision will be given for the museum to have dedicated spaces, lecture halls and a library, enabling a center for STEM education.

Please help us get these aviation firsts under cover and sheltered from the damaging elements. Our mission plan is to complete the museum by 2027. LEARN MORE!
