JAMES “JT” TUCKER
412th WING LIASION, EDWARDS AFB

James A. “J.T.” Tucker has a Master’s degree in History from The Ohio State University(specializing in European and Military History). While a graduate student, he entered an Oak Ridge Institute of Science and Education (ORISE) research internship at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) History Office that lasted four years. He wrote on topics ranging from AFRL’s efforts in quantum computing to nondestructive testing. He entered civil service as a DAF Civilian as the Air Force Test Center Historian covering the 412th Test Wing (412 TW) in December 2019. In February of 2022, his position was transferred to the 412 TW to simplify the role. He continues to serve as the Wing Historian for the 412th.
