As the Program Integration Manager of the Office of STEM Engagement at NASA, she leads and coordinates the efforts of a talented team of STEM professionals, educators, and researchers to deliver high-quality and impactful STEM programs and initiatives for students, teachers, and communities across the nation. With over 15 years of experience in STEM education and leadership, Amira has a strong passion and commitment for fostering STEM literacy.

Her expertise in educational leadership, curriculum and instruction, and organizational change enables her to design, implement, and evaluate innovative and effective STEM learning experiences and environments, both formal and informal, that align with NASA’s mission and vision. She also applies her skills in data analysis, presentation, and communication to disseminate and share the outcomes and best practices of NASA’s STEM programs and projects with various stakeholders, partners, and audiences. Through her work at NASA, she aims to inspire and empower the next generation of STEM explorers, innovators, and leaders.
